Webinar by M. V. Mariano Daniel Molina and M. V. María Ferreyra. The aim is to highlight the basic needs that companion animals have (rights) in relation to the obligations (duties) that arise towards society.
Since 2016, the educational cycle “Responsible pet ownership” has been taking workshops to primary and secondary schools in the city of Río cuarto, Córdoba, to educate young people and their families on the subject. The project arises from the need of a group of veterinary professionals to address and make a contribution to a very serious problem that includes public health. The educational cycle is currently implemented through the Neighbourhood University Programme (UNRC) in conjunction with the Ministry of Education of the province of Córdoba and has the endorsement and support of the province’s Veterinary Medical Association.
